Fun florals

men
A strong theme for men’s fashion, it takes some guts to wear floral-patterned shirts. To rock this trend successfully, adhere to these rules:
Make it simple
Although some people try to go overboard by wearing more than one floral print, it is always safe to wear one per outfit. Floral-patterned shirts are best worn with plain shorts, denim or chinos trousers and should feature one of the colours in the floral mix. This way, you would not have to bother about any fashion faux pas.
Contrasting prints
For men who are bold and daring, one strong pattern can be worn with clashing prints. The key to pulling off this look is to make sure the prints   though contrasting, also complement each other. The motifs should differ either in tone or pattern, but not both.
Layer the prints
For men who are a bit shy, layering could be considered. Try wearing a floral print shirt beneath a dark tailored jacket or blazer, so that only the cuff and collar are visible. The jacket breaks up the impact of a full floral effect on the eyes. This is a good way of contrasting floral details against solid hues.
Avoid runway look
Most patterns are only good for the runway. Runway floral patterns are usually clashing from head-to-toe and no matter how well they look on the runway; they never translate well in reality. You may borrow the look, but do not copy it in its entirety.
Wear according to weather
The choice of colour in an outfit could be determined by the weather. Darker florals should be the choice in cold weather, while light and colourful prints are better worn on sunny days.
Consider fit
As the rule in fashion, floral patterns should be worn according to fit. They are naturally colourful and are selective of skin colour. Also, events should determine the kind of floral patterns to wear. More conspicuous outfits should be reserved for informal occasions, while more conservative ones can be worn to formal events.
Wear right accessories
Floral print shirts have too many details already, so it is safe to play down on accessories. Bold-coloured accessories are better paired with the shirts. It would be unwise to pair footwear with floral design with the shirts.
